Michele Vurpillat worked in the film business for years, winning an Emmy for  costume design in 1987, she is a  clothing designer and gourmet cook but her passion is and always has been art.  She is a gifted painter, sculptor and photographer.  Michele loves painting children more than anything else.  She can see what is behind the eyes of her subjects and her paintings reflect just that. she paints in Technicolor style that depicts what she sees beyond the physical realm and into the soul of her subjects.  Michele's portraits actually look alive.
